Children’s Classes
While educational movements worldwide focus on academic learning, far fewer address a child’s spiritual development. Bahá’í children’s classes help fill this need by nurturing virtues such as truthfulness, kindness, forgiveness, and unity.
Through stories, songs, arts, and memorization of prayers, children learn to recognize moral qualities and apply them in daily life. These classes are held in neighborhoods across the world, often becoming sources of joy and cohesion for families and communities.
Bahá’u’lláh affirms the profound potential within every child:
“Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures…”
– Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 259.
By helping children discover these “gems,” spiritual education strengthens their confidence, deepens their understanding of right and wrong, and prepares them to contribute meaningfully to society throughout their lives.
