Junior Youth Groups
The junior youth years (ages 12 to 15) represent a period of rapid change—full of promise, yet vulnerable to the forces of materialism, apathy, and prejudice. The Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program responds to these realities by helping young people recognize their potential and channel their energies toward constructive action.
Guided by an “animator” (often an older youth), junior youth study materials that strengthen their spiritual perception, critical thinking, and powers of expression. They learn to identify the influences shaping their lives and reflect on how they can respond with clarity and purpose.
Service is a central element of the program. Whether through neighborhood clean-ups, tutoring children, or initiating community projects, junior youth experience themselves as agents of positive change—not only improving their surroundings but also reinforcing their own spiritual identity.
Today, more than 150,000 junior youth participate in over 17,000 groups worldwide, a testament to the program’s transformative impact..
